Choosing a Home Inspector

It’s important when considering an inspection company that the inspector is properly certified and insured. This provides confidence that you are indeed dealing with a professional. The bottom line is that it takes time and money to obtain and maintain the appropriate certifications and insurance policies, but you deserve no less when it comes to a professional opinion about your home.

As a home inspector, I work for you. That means I am conducting an inspection on the home while looking out for your best interests. If there’s anything that I observe during the inspection that I may affect the safety or value of the property it will be included in my report.

Why Have a Home Inspection?

A thorough home inspection will always find problems because all homes have issues – even brand new homes. The purpose of a home inspection is not to discourage you from buying a particular home, but to be sure you know what you are buying. In this way, you are able to make an informed decision about a significant investment.

Report Quality Matters

In the past, a home inspection report might have consisted of a few handwritten or typed pages highlighting a handful of major defects. Home buyers today expect more. Our reports include many photos as well as video clips where appropriate, and highlight any defects that are observed during the inspection. Once the report is completed (normally on the same as the inspection), you will have instant online access to the full report.

Sample Report

A thorough property inspection is important, but it’s also essential that the inspection report is accessible and understandable. Our inspection reports are available for online viewing (complete with photos and videos) or for download as a PDF. Of course, we are always available by email, text, or phone to answer any questions that you have following the inspection.

About Robert Witham

Frontier Inspections, LLC is owned and operated by Robert and Melanie Witham. Robert is an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) and FAA licensed drone pilot who lives in Gillette, Wyoming.

Prior to becoming a certified home inspector, Robert worked for many years as a handyman and in the fields of residential remodeling and commercial maintenance.
